I normally don’t write reviews but this gentleman from D&b tile has made me want to return my service there. I had a horrible experience a few months back and wanted to give the store another try even though the reviews I’ve read weren’t giving me much hope. Although when I got there a young man named Jawuan was very nice and greeted me right away. He helped direct me around the store and was very helpful with any questions I had. He was very respectful and I felt he deserved a nice review. Will definitely be returning to work with him.
So my wife and I went into D&B tile store this afternoon, Aug. 10, 2018 to look at various tile applications. I looked at the reviews and they were mixed with inconsistent customer service, but I thought we would give them a chance. We walked in and there was a women helping a couple by the front desk and a man with glasses typing on the computer, they both seen us walk in. Within 30 seconds the couple that were customers walked out after we came in. We wondered around the store for about 10 minutes with no one coming to ask if we needed help. There were at least 4 employees that seen us and not one on them asked if we needed help. There was a lady in the kitchen cabinet area helping another couple so we didn't bother her. There were no other customers in the store. As with most products they usually sell themselves, it's the customer service that people base their decisions on. I finally went up to the counter where the male employee was working and asked him if they were open for business, and he said yes. I said we have been in the store for a while and several employees seen us and basically disappeared. I told him I had read the reviews and they confirmed the poor customer service. He then offered to help, but seemed bothered and never got up from his chair. His excuse was the standard " Oh, I thought someone was helping you". How would you assume that if you never got up from your chair? I told him we were leaving and would spend our money at a more deserving business that understood customer service. They don't know whether we were there to spend 10.00 or 10,000.00. I would never recommend this business to anyone. A simple " Hi folks I will be with you in a few minutes, or can I help you" goes a long way.
Worked with Jawuan to select over 3000 sf of tile for the floor and bathrooms. He was very knowledgeable about the products. He stayed current with the ordering to delivery. I go out of my way to use D&B Tile because its worth it.
Jawuan was super helpful in helping me pick out white tile (they have an overwhelming selection of white tile)... he explained the whole process and Richard even helped us get the tile for a small expedited fee. Chelston was friendly and had great customer service.

I honestly didn't know what to expect when I first contacted you, but for the record, you exceeded my expectations! You stepped in where most people would have just paid lip service, just showing the integrity and character that you carry as an owner.
I also want to give kudos to your staff. David was very patient as he dealt with this situation, and I also had the pleasure to meet Michelle for the pick up of the unit, and she was absolutely wonderful.
