Everitt and Schilling Rawhide Flats Reclaimed Wood Tiles
D&B is proud to be featuring Everitt & Schilling’s newRawhide Flats wood tile – the latest creation from the Ft. Collins, Colorado based company.
The Rawhide Flats differ from E&S’s Reclaimed Barnwood Series in that the tile comes in a consistent 5/8” thickness, is unfinished on the face and smooth cut on the sides.
This tile is the epitome of urban rustic design and affordability and is designed to make any space capture the beauty of American history while embracing the edge of modern design. It’s perfect for feature walls, pantry walls, powder rooms, backsplashes, vanities, ceilings, and more.
The Rawhide Flats Series is currently available in two patterns, Apache and Nokomis, named after Native American tribes that once roamed the Western US where the wood for these tiles is sourced. Apache is a straight set pattern of 4”x4” tiles, coming in a 12”x12” sheet, and the Nokomis is a staggered set pattern of 2”x18” planks, coming on a 8”x22” sheet. Each piece of wood is carefully calibrated and set onto a special vulcanized backer that allows the wood to flex, yet is perforated so it also gives each wood tile direct bond to the wall. This patent pending system means the product can withstand movement with the seasons, but stay on the wall as beautiful as ever for years to come.
All E&S wood tile products are handcrafted in Fort Collins, Colorado, and are installed in 1sf tiles, easily mounted to any surface with thinset or construction adhesive– and no demolition required.
Having seen early success with E&S’s Reclaimed Barnwood and Upcycled Hardwood wood tiles this Spring and Summer, D&B is excited to launch the budget friendly Rawhide Flats product line and continue to be the only place to source this unique line of wood tile products in South Florida.
