The Tradition Medical Center is part of the Martin Memorial Health System in Port St. Lucie, FL. It is a $65 million, 82-bed, 205,000 square foot, six-story concrete frame acute care hospital including emergency, operating and dietary wings with a stand-alone one-story 8,000 square foot central energy plant.

Crossville Tile from D&B Tile Distributors was used throughout the hospital including the floors and walls in patient bathrooms and on the floors of the public restrooms. The tile used was Crossville Blox EC Sandbox E1101 12×12.

Designer on this project was Elizabeth Allen, RID from In.design in Boca Raton. With over three decades of combined experience in cutting-edge and innovative commercial interior design, principals Karen Hansen and Laura Rachlin founded In.design, Inc., a full-service interior design firm.

In.design boasts LEED accredited professionals on staff and has designed multiple LEED certified projects. Additionally, the firm is highly skilled at producing and managing detailed interior budgets and schedules as well as years of experience working with Lean Design & Construction Processes.
